Somebody pls respond i need this to be fixed asap

They likely updated to the new AE2 api, which AL does not have.

AL does register its own driver to the system, so that should work, unless the crash is failing the entire system, in which case its an OC issue.

Also, expecting a reply in less than a day? no.

So idk what to blame, AL or OC, but one of the devs responded that the issue is on AL side... i don't really know

Hmm... this is probably a bit of an ignorant guess here... but would a way to fix this incompatibility on the OC side would be to disable AE2 integration if AL is detected? I think what's happening (still guessing here) is that OC sees the AE2 API and assumes it's the new one. If it's somehow disabled when it detects AL (or the old API somehow?), then it won't crash, but there won't be any integration done by OC (so this mod has to implement its own stuff, which you imply has been done?). From what I can tell, OC gets confused because the mod ID and java namespace is shared with AE2?

Sorry about this ramble, just want to try to understand things a bit more. ^^;

Yeah that's a pretty accurate assessment
