It would appear that the night light icon is part of the aggregate menu, so probably no. When I get the time, I'll make an attempt at fixing the open...
(There's probably a way to manipulate the aggregate menu itself, but that might be out of scope for this extension.)

@ur1katz Have you considered doing a PR? Even in it's current state, your controller is much superior to the completely broken one currently in pychromecast.
