Generate chart with layer selected

I would imagine if I have a layer selected, it would generate a bar/line chart to fit in the size of the layer I've selected.

Based on the number of points, it should automatically size the distance between the points so they fully fit inside the layer from left to right.

For example, if I had the gray layer selected

And generated a line chart

It should generate the line chart so it fit my layer bounds
