[BUG][KPB] allow preemption during copy

Describe the bug Follow-up to workaround set in https://github.com/thesofproject/sof/pull/8936

The current version of KBP can block the LL for longer periods than it has been decided for. Replace the workaround with more finegrained solution to protect against preemption.
