audio stops working mid-playback until reboot (Dell 9720 w/ Alder Lake PCH-P audio)
The symptoms are quite similar to #5213 but the log output is different, it is without the stacktrace output. Also, no system crash. I was playing videos on and off all day today, from the browser and video player apps. I started up a file, and the audio went into a loop of about a half second of audio and the video player froze. Now there is no audio. Starting the video player again leads to it freezing at the beginning of the video. The video player works fine if I set the audio device to null.
Here's the log:
$ grep -i -e suspend -e kernel -e pipewire -e alsa -e sound /var/log/syslog |grep -v -e iptables -e ip6tables -e wlp -e iwlwifi > kernel.log
