No sound from laptop speaker & internal mic not detected.
I am using Ubuntu 23.04 with kernel 6.2.0-20-generic. My laptop is INFINIX INBOOK X1 SLIM with i5-1035G1 CPU. I am newbie to Linux and trying to shift from windows.
At first, I installed ubuntu 22.04 lts that has an older kernel version. My speakers are not even detected in it. So I live booted into several other distros to check what is wrong. I found that kernel 6.2 is detecting my speakers. So then I installed Ubuntu 23.04.
Even though they are detected, they output sound at very low sound. It is audible when you literally place your ears next to the speakers. The alsamixer is giving any bar at speakers to increase the volume.
I tried a lot of things. But nothing worked. Please help.
I think this may come in handy:

There are only 17 bugs against this codec https://github.com/thesofproject/linux/labels/codec%20ES8336
Don't expect a miracle @thesuryavivek. Intel has stopped providing support on this given the proliferation of configs.
