improve QoL Sidebar Category

I like the folder approach of obsidian and usually organize it through the folder structure. Currently the Sidebar Category Component doesn't remember which of the menuitems are opened and resets after clicking a link.

Is it possible to update the sidebar category component so it remembers the opened menuitems? Overall especially useful for the obsidian theme.

My Current set up is through github pages.
