Zapier integration doesn't respect spreadsheet date formatting in Google Sheets

Expected Behaviour

Expected Zapier to submit dates to Bothan using the date formatting I specified in the google sheet.

Current Behaviour (for problems)

I had a date like 1/10/2017 (yes, I know!) in Google sheet which had been formatted in the spreadsheet cell.

When this date was submitted to Bothan, it was in US date format instead. I'm not sure if this is an issue with the integration or limitation of Zapier's integration with Google Sheets

Steps to Reproduce (for problems)

1. Create Zap using New Row trigger
2. In Zap template specify column for metric and also choose to take the date from a column in the spreadsheet, rather than using "now". Use DD/MM/YYYY formatting
3. Save the Zap
4. Check the date in the data sent to Bothan it should be incorrrect
