My FF doesn't crash and this is what my http://supportdetails.com/ report generated

Operating System: Macintosh OS X 10.12 Screen Resolution: 1920 x 1080 Web Browser: Firefox 54.0 Browser Size: 1864 x 798 Color Depth: 24 bit Javascript Enabled Flash Version: Not Installed Cookies Enabled

So maybe its the version number of FF or Flash. @Floppy can you check again and see if you get the crash error? ALSO is supportdetails.com worth including in the issue template so that Users can quickly get the information which we are asking them to specify?
