Multiple languages in maps

Hello, is something planned to add different languages for countries name in the maps?

I need them in french and I saw that they are included in the maps script, so I can change them in my project and take it as a custom map, but is it possible to have it in options for future usage of the library?

Actually, it's not a priority at the mean time, I think there're a lot of workarounds that can make this done.
