jquery-week-calendar + Foundation + IE8 in compatability mode = fail

We are using the Zurb Foundation css framework (http://foundation.zurb.com/). When we add the app.js that is provided by them and go look a calendar in IE8 with compatibility view set to on IE will lock up and has to be killed.

Commenting out everything in app.js fixed the problem so they are doing something in their that is breaking jquery-week-calendar.

I'll try to investigate in the next few days, can you create a jsfiddle so that I can easily reproduce the bug?
