I really like some elements of themes produced with quite high values of gradient. However sometimes gradients applied to some elements produce unpleasant visual clashes (e.g inactive menu bar buttons in synaptic and meld). It would be nice to be able to apply different levels of gradient and specify gradient direction for different elements of the theme.
