Make icon system pluggable

Some of us use martial design icons from Google .. bringing in font awesome is therfore wasteful. Please make icons pluggable :)

Sure thing, flagging this as a feature. There are times when I want to use custom icons outside of font awesome myself :)

Any ETA on when this feature will be developed? In the meantime, is there a workaround to remove the font-awesome dependency?

Just discovered bert, it's absolutely perfect for my needs.
