Introduction

In the current architecture, core services like database (RDS), web servers (Elastic Beanstalk), and caching (ElasticCache) are limited scalable, it's hard to handle unpredictable incoming traffic (DDoS, breaking news & events).

In this epic, we focus on reviewing current architecture, spotting the potential bottlenecks in different aspects (scaleability, engineering, performance, security, etc.), and finding solutions. Implementations will be coming in the upcoming epics.
