Non touch navigation issue

Thank you from italy your work made a lot of us very happy. I would like to ask you if you can fix the player because in my case i dont have touch screen so, i have to scroll with the joystick (mercedes a class w176). Many time i Cant navigate because it doesnt let me choice the link.

Which player ? Youtube or local ?

Both my friend, it is very difficult for us that we dont have touch screen to use the Youtube and navigate on the web

I see. I am not able to exactly figure out the difficulty since my car doesnt have hardware controls. Would it be possible to explain in a little more detail ? What is the issue in scrolling with joystick ?

Hello. Thank you for the guide how to use plex, youtube and many other application with android auto. I have the same problem, no touchscreen (Audi Q5 2019 with MMI Plus). I have a multidirectional wheel (up,down,left,right, click) and a touchpad for writing inkl. click function. I can e.g. open plex and see the page for choosing the user (I have 3 there) can also switch the items by clicking left oder right but when I click on the wheel nothing happens. I'm not able to open the Overview of my user profile. Same when I try netflix, can switch between de films/series but when I click nothing is happening. Youtube worked but could not search for video only the videos on the main page where selectable.

Any suggestion who to handle that? Would be nice to use these apps in the car.

same issue here with 2018 MB E-Klass. No touchscreen, I am able to control the UI somewhat with the car controls, but the selected elements are not highlighted so I cant see what I would be selecting.

Would be awesome if this could be fixed, I offer to do some testing.

I have the same issue. 2019 MB GLC300. not able to navigate Carstream. I am able to control the UI somewhat with the car controls, but the selected elements are not highlighted so I cant see what I would be selecting as well..
