Not being prompted for root access on step 17 of the 2.0.0 instructions
When I try to do "Click on Carstream. Your phone should prompt you to grant root access. Accept root access.", I get no root request. Carstream works fine on the desktop head unit, but doesn't request root access. It DOES prompt when I go into the carstream app and hit Unlock[Root]. I tried continuing with the rest of the instructions despite that, but after doing so, still cannot launch carstream on my car stereo. (doesn't even show up).

I raised a concern long before this because from July 15 2018, downgrading GPS to 11.9 and AA to 2.9 did not work for carstream suddenly (actually it was working very well before) and I haven't had my phone rooted(oneplus2) at that time. But after Jul 15 it stopped working and I rooted my 0hine and installed carstream 2.0 and did all the steps mentioned. But nothing seems to work. Any help on this please?
Hi, i have the same problem in step 17 (carstream 2.0) . I have rooted Oneplus 5t (magisk 16). I tried to use different versions of Android auto and it not promt for permissions) Please help!! Thank you
