Problem: no items in app
When i click on Car Stream on Android Auto i receive a message: Click last icon in bottom bar and start playing from you tube.... ?
If you happen to have Android Auto 3.0, you should take a look at issue #116 or, alternatively, uninstall Android Auto, install version 2.9 or below, disable automatic updates, install the app by modifying the package name (APK Editor or App Cloner) and re-activate unknown sources
Keep also in mind that app has to be used on a car, and has to be started on the latest icon, and not the one with headphones.

Do we have any limitations with latest android version Nougat. I was using this car stream successfully, and suddenly stopped working after having this latest version. What to do. I tried uninstalling and installing android auto 2.9 and car stread 1.8.3 through app cloner app and changed the package name. But still getting"NO Items" and same click on last icon. Please help me on this.
It's not about Android version. Google killed it with Google Play Services
So how to get it back? Any solution?

do we have any solution. I have installed android auto 2.9 and carstream as well. But still getting no items. will this work if I degrade my version to 7 ile nugat from oreo
Hello, everyone. Everything starts with one version of Android auto 2.9574923-release. If you have any questions I will answer in details.
Conseguir fazer funcionar o carstream e aamirror, foi necessário remover o google play service 12.5 e instalar uma versão anterior 12.20, usei a versão do Android auto 2.9, versão 1.83 do carstream com alteração do manifest e desabilitar a atualização automática dos app, se a atualização automática estiver habilitada o google play service vai ser atualizada e será necessário remover e instalar a versão 12.20 novamente e não pode esquecer de habilitar fontes desconhecida no android auto.

Hi shmykelsa, I recently bought Samsung galaxy Note 9 & also bought the latest Hundai venue in India, is it possible to use carstream still, I have tried numerous things, but it doesn't seem to work. If u could suggest something or help me out, I will be really thankful to you.

You have to root your phone first, then use AA Phenotype Patcher to patch the app in order to work. I suggest to download the forked Carstream by Kristakos from here https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=80328203&postcount=322 otherwise it won't work with latest AA
