Remove subheadings in the hompage

I feel like the subheadings (“Who are we?”, “What forums are we most active in?”, and “How can I join The Forum Helpers”?) are unneeded and I think a plain description would be better and seem more professional (Q&A style of delivering information is a bit indirect and unneeded in my opinion: we can make a FAQ if needed).

At least, I really think the “What forums are we most active in” subheading can be removed and become part of the main information.

I also think how to join can become “To join, please read the application instructions (‘application instructions’ is a link)”. That’s much more direct - what if someone does not want a detailed explanation? There’s no “simple” explanation. Of course, common sense will tell us that to apply, the user does have to read the application instruction page regardless, but what we have currently is very indirect. If I was the user trying to apply, I would think “is there a simple application instruction? How do I apply? Is it actually the detailed explanation? Did I go to the wrong place? Where’s the simpler application instructions?” I mean, that’s really what someone probably would think.

Change the title to “The Scratch Forum Helpers” rather than “Welcome to the website for…

Again, in my opinion, the title is another example of unneeded indirectness. “Welcome to the website for” does not convey any information. Also, having “welcome to the website for” makes the title sound very unprofessional.

I know these are small changes, but they really do make a difference. Right now the homepage is very indirect and sounds unprofessional in my opinion.

The content itself in the website makes a huge difference. In order to have a good website, it needs to have direct and professional content.
