https://stackoverflow.com/questions/77907507/selenium-invalid-id-session-before-quit-with-new-chromedriver-121 suggests 121 has a memory leak and 122 solves it. https://chromiumdash.appspot.com/schedule suggests 122 should be released next week and solve it. We're also seeing the same issue on our Jenkins tests now.
