Not all messages displayed when reconnecting

When I rejoined today only messages of one person where displayed. All other users were simply not shown.

Would be simpler to pin-point this bug if some more details were added. Could you add some steps to replicate this bug? Possibly it is related to #265 or private conversations in general, which is a bit buggy atm.
