Dual Publishing / ESM support

The current release of fdir seems to be CJS only. Are there plans / would you accept a PR that allows moving to dual publishing or ESM support (now that we have require(esm), ESM only could be something for 7.0 https://github.com/thecodrr/fdir/issues/70)?
