cover without state-in

Dear all,

is there a possibility that the cover mode can be run without state pins ? Unfortunately I need trigger functionality for my window covers but they don't have any state pin possibility. Thank you in advance for your help.

No, if you just need a trigger you can use this as a switch and make a cover template https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/cover.template/
