Does this work in Sitecore 8.1?
Hi,
I tried installing this package using the Sitecore Installation wizard in Sitecore desktop but cannot see the redirect module within the System/Modules folder. Am i missing anything?

Did you check the logs to make sure install succeeded and nothing failed?

Hi, I haven't tested with Sitecore 8.1. It's possible that some parent ItemIDs might've changed in recent Sitecore releases; can you have a look at your ItemIDs and ensure they match?

Thanks for your reply. I just had a look at the logs, and nothing is failing (Thanks @maxslabyak for your message). I also just looked at the source and couldnt find any Item Ids in the solution to cross reference against. Could you point me in the right direction please?

They're in the zip file. But a better option would be for us to find a time to have a look at your setup. Can we set up a skype call at some time so we can work through it on screenshare? I'm in US West Coast timezone, and I can do mornings at 8am or evenings after 7.30pm. What day and time work for you?
I'm having the exact same issue. What was the solution to this issue?
Seems like perhaps some parent ItemIDs have changed, perhaps? It's worth checking in the package what ItemIDs the items are supposed to be being installed under and seeing if those exist in your installation.
Or it could have been user error since it installed today. Mondays… Thank you for your quick reply!
