Two Finger scroll not working in the Editor

Open a7aezay opened this issue 3 years ago • 14 comments

I am not able to scroll the Editor using the two finger gesture on the trackpad. It works on the project explorer window though. not sure if that is a bug or working as designed.

Does it work when the editor is in focus? It's definitely an issue.

No it does not.

I'll try to reproduce it locally. It would be great if you can provide the following information:

  • Version of iPadOS
  • Version of Code
  • Model of the trackpad

bummoblizard avatar Apr 13 '22 14:04 bummoblizard

  • Version of iPadOS: 15.4
  • Modle of iPad: iPadPro (11-inch) (2nd-generation)
  • Version of Code: 1.2.13 (Build 46)
  • Modle of trackpad: Magic Keyboard trackpad

Hi,

do you happen to have the keyboard toolbar toggled off? For me this only happens after disabling it. With the keyboard toolbar enabled, two finger scrolling works on my iPad w/ iPad OS 15.4.1 and a Logitech Combo Touch.

Hi, I enabled it but still having the same issue. Will upgrade to iPadOS 15.4.1 and see try again.

I can reproduce it when disabling keyboard toolbar. It looks like a focus issue related to WKWebView and I'll see how I can fix it.

I can confirm, scrolling doesn't work with the toolbar enabled (any keyboard/touchpad with any modern iPad - iPadOS 15.14.1)

Also, text selection with touchpad doesn't work too (neither keyboard toolbar enabled or not)

And if you use two windows mode, when the Code App is on the left side, after the toolbar enabled, there appears second unnecessary scrollbar on the right side of the frame

@andriyanovzakhar Thanks for letting me know. Would be appreciated if you can send me a screenshot of the second issue.

Same problem here. Just erase all app setting and it will work again.

For those who are having this problem, disable hide keyboard toolbar and it should work.
