Battery icon too big and shady?

Probably already discussed, but why is the icon so big that is the biggest icon in my menubar? I would use it because the functionality is great but it looks a bit too big in my menubar, also the shadow behind looks more evident that the default one. Or it's just me?

And I would add also that is very hard to read the text/numbers with this "half empty/half full" style, a fixed full or empty color (I mean white or transparent background) would be far more readable.

Hi @giuliomagnifico, I think both of them are personal preferences and are not issues. However, you are not the first person to suggest that the percentage is hard to read, so I have updated this issue to be a feature request. In due time I will add the functionality to turn off the progress bar.
