Audio Transcription through file upload

Since Gemini does great audio Transcription, can we have the option to upload files using the app so that we can upload an audio file and have it transcribe?

File uploads in chat mode are something I'm possibly looking to implement in the future, which would allow you to do this. I can't promise it anytime soon, but it's already on the future to-do list :)
