Spy on Fryhtan Lairs
It would be nice to have a way to spy on fryhtan lairs like we do on others' buildings. A couple options for implementation:
- Only as a cheat feature
- Use the phoenix (limits it to Greek Seat of Power only, and later in game)

See the thread for some discussion but, in general, it would require dynamically generating the "soldiers" when the lair is viewed. This is because only fryhtan leadership is pre-decided and the number of soldiers is simply based on how many soldiers each leader can command.
Current implementation of Frythans are ridiculous anyway. If enable number of exploits, easy gathering of gold and by this way, easy demolition of Frythan forces.
Just take archery unit and attack, retreat and attack only ordo and figure out distance, on which everyone returns. Defeat ordo and repeat. This way you can easily avoid heavy fighting and get directly to All High.
I think that we can afford explicit simulation of Frythans and thus some sort of spying could be implemented as well.
I agree, the neat solution would be to do away with the random spawning of Fryhtans as they are needed and actually occupy the Lairs with Fryhtan soldiers. It'll be a little bit more work, but it'll also be in line with how the rest of 7kaa works. In the end, things should become simpler, methinks.
The display of fryhtan lairs is done, and will be used per using the phoenix. I don't think this adds any appeal to using a phoenix though. And it doesn't look like they really play tested the phoenix, as there are things unfinished in the code, and then they scrapped it in 7k2. 75bfd86bd02fb5fb0c0b30fa7b008eee3133f290
The design questions of fryhtans should be addressed based on the latest 2.15.6 separately.
