Useless scan names

I scan with an HP multifunction to a Network Folder and it always scans to "scan.pdf" unless one already exists, then "scan0001.pdf" etc. They're useless names. How can I use the "Added" time to form the title of the document. I did a quick search for Added in the code and the issues and found nothing useful.

Note, that we cannot control the way your scanner is naming your files. You have to look up the scanner manual or ask for their support.

Paperless picks the files including their names exactly as you put them in your consume folder. The convention on how paperless does import the file names is documented here.
