Dates change when editing Event blocks

I created an event using The Events Calendar, using the Event Blocks via Gutenberg. I set the date to 22-26 July, created the other blocks, saved event without issue. But whenever I go back into the event to edit, the dates have changed to 22-29 July. I have to re-set them every time - it keeps adding a random amount days to the initial start date. Another test started as 13-14 march but then changed to 13-17 March. March 13-19 became March 13-22. Has anyone else seen this? This is a Wordpress.com site. Do not suspect plugin conflict.
