New object: glue
(I know there's already a glue, but it doesn't do exactly what I want and fortunately it's not in wide use)
The Glue object:
- [ ] has a 'sensor'
- [ ] anything in the sensor gets a 'Link' to the glue object with force to draw it closer
- [ ] must act like it has no dimensions
- [ ] can be dragged by a player over other objects, so he can glue two existing objects together, even if there is no obvious space for the glue object.
A few possible use cases:
- keep a penguin stuck
- prevent a bowling pin from toppling over
- keep things from falling down
Really interesting idea. But what do you intend to do with the “old” glue which just sticks two objects together?
I think it still can be useful, so I don't want to throw it away. Since the “old” glue can be used to build more complex shapes.
The old glue has it uses for level designers. We might want to name it differently, though.
The new glue will be for use from the toolbox, i.e. by players.
Anyway, it's not for now...
