Untranslated strings

I am trying to help in translating. I may have the same problem, as described here:

  • download from transifex the updated file tbe_levels_it.po (which I am trying to test), put it in my local "tbe-master/i18n" directory. Double-check that the file contains my translation on level 2
  • run make clean && make
  • run ./tbe, set language=IT and open level 2 expected behaviour: see the translated text real behaviour: I see the english text Note that the same process works fine with UI translations. Is this a bug or am I doing anything wrong?

Is there any way for me to go on with translating and checking if my translations show fine?

For all the open bugs we need to know if they are applicable for the old UI, new UI or both and label those accordingly.

I have no experience with translating and let others comment on that.

This issue definitely applies to New UI. But I think it also affects Old UI, due to the switch. It needs to be checked if Transifex is still up-to-date now that the master branch was reverted.
