this is a good feature although i think there's a `.metadata` function in the object passed to the second arg to progressively update metadata you can see how task tool...
have you looked at how our permissions check on the bash tool is implemented? it's not a simple string check we parse the command with treesitter and check each subcommand...
curious why `--conditions=development` doesn't work?
can you try deploying with `sst deploy --dev` - does that make it all the way through? also curious where it gets stuck
is there anything in `pulumi.err.log` ? not sure why it's stick - can you also do a `sst diff --dev` to see if that finishes?

can you describe your exact issue - seems to differ from the original issue
if you do `sst version --verbose` and delete the folder it prints out does that help?
