Install script fails on IPv6-only system

Bug Description

Attempting to install on IPv6-only systems (i.e. lack of IPv4 altogether, no address, no NAT64, no NAP-T will generate unable connect errors

Expected behavior

I expect GitHub to have IPv6, but alas, I am left wanting

Steps to Reproduce

Run the install shell script on any system with no IPv4 or translation mechanism.

Possible Solution

This is not a hyperglass issue, it is an artifact of Github not having a dual stack solution. However, it should be noted in the install as there may be poor souls such as myself attempting to install on IPv6-only systems and somehow blocking out the fact that GitHub does not support IPv6 like they would a recurring nightmare.
