Improve docs and repository options

The README.md could be improved to include:

• [ ] information on how to get a version of the app for development (including pre-requisites and necessary tools)
• [ ] how to run tests
• [ ] a link to the releases tab so users can learn where to find released APKs
• [ ] Contribution Guidelines

The repository could also have Issue Templates (For bugs and feature requests)
