The TOC link transition is misaligned on smartphones

The TOC link transition is misaligned on smartphones. Please let me know how to fix it. I'm experiencing this on my iPhone.

This isn't just a problem with my site. It's also the case with https://tweeki.kollabor.at/. I'm attaching that one as well.

The browser validation tool works fine, but on the actual device (iPhone 8), when I select bootstrap4 in TOC, the transition is misaligned. Is it because my device is old?

Thanks, now I understand. Hm, it really seems to be a problem of Safari not supporting the scroll-padding-top CSS property that the current implementation relies on. I'm open to suggestions or pull requests if you know of a better way how to do it...
