[Bug]: PiP window does not move, regardless of where I click

Expected Behavior

Expected Behavior

  1. Open YouTube Music app
  2. Play music while logged in
  3. Enable Picture in Picture
  4. Restart YouTube Music
  5. Play music while logged in
  6. Click PiP icon
  7. PiP appears on screen
  8. Click and drag PiP window to another spot on the screen
  9. Resize PiP by dragging corner
  10. Close PiP and return to main window
  11. Click PiP icon and PiP window appears in same size and location as previously

Actual Behavior

Errors are in bold

  1. Open YouTube Music
  2. Play music while logged in
  3. Enable Picture in Picture
  4. Restart YouTube Music
  5. Play music while logged in
  6. Click PiP icon
  7. PiP appears on screen
  8. Click and drag PiP window to another spot on the screen: PiP window does not move, regardless of where I click. Clicking while holding Mac modifier keys has no effect.
  9. Resize PiP by dragging corner: successful
  10. Close PiP and return to main window: successful
  11. Click PiP icon and PiP window appears in same size and location as previously: PiP window appears in original size and location, regardless of how I left it before returning to main window

I've searched the issues list and conversations. I haven't found a reference to this issue, so apologies if this is a duplicate.

@JellyBrick thanks for looking into this. For me, native PiP does not behave any differently from the app's built-in PiP. I can't tell any difference between them. I don't currently have the in-app menu plugin enabled. When I tried in-app menu, I could move the PiP because the in-app menu items activate a window title bar and the PiP can be moved. Unfortunately, I don't like how the in-app menu plugin works otherwise, so I keep it disabled. Just a reminder that this is on an Apple silicon Mac running OS 14, but I noticed the same issue on 13 and 12.

I have the same issue, Sonoma 14.1.2, native PIP also doesn't move for me.
