Don't sync recent files between devices

This should either be the only option, or the default option. I don't use the same notes on my phone as I do on my computer. This was the default behavior until Obsidian started syncing plugin data.

This may be unnecessary if Obsidian is updated to allow ignoring data sync for specific plugins, as discussed on Discord with @lishid.

I would also love to have a setting to disable the sync between devices. For example the Obsidian Git plugin has such a feature (here is the commit of the implementation).
