Feature request: Add a function/hotkey to clone/duplicate the current row/column

Open mikkovedru opened this issue 2 years ago • 1 comments

The title is self-explanatory.

I find myself quite often wanting to have a new row/column with a mildly changed content of another row/column.

Currently, I would need to create a new row/column and copy/paste each field. This is very tedious, especially when it comes to columns.

Having a function to duplicate the current row/column would save a great amount of hassle!

Thank you for your plugin. :+1:

You could use Vim mode in Obsidian and then use the keyboard shortcut yyp which would do exactly what you're describing. I'm sure that's not a great solution for everyone, but might be helpful for some.
