locast2plex gives me input/output error

Open bob-442 opened this issue 4 years ago • 1 comments

I'm attempting to deploy locast2plex using an opensuse leap15.2 plex server system. I'm not using containers at this time. I have donated to locast and am able to watch locast (with a roku device) w/o being nagged to donate. I followed the directions to install configure and run locast2plex. I've tried both 127.0.0.1 and the local lan address for the plex_accessible_ip. I did note that when using 127.0.0.1, automatic discovery does not work, but when using the lan address, it does work.

In either case, all seems to go well with automatic discovery or manual specification. The guide gets set up and appears in plex. But then when I actually attempt to watch a show (on any channel, through locast2plex), I get output like the following from "main.py":

The error repeats several times per attempt. Any idea what's wrong?

Thanks very much for any help I might get.

Just an update to the issue I reported. I downloaded a new copy of locast2plex (after the station.py fix was made -- the error fetching the fcc data was not my original problem, but I did end up seeing it). This time I loaded the application on Windows 7 (not my forte -- Windows). It worked, For my purposes, that is good enough. So I'm in business, Fantastic application!
