Unable to Send Media/Image using yowsup-cli

I have installed Yowsup Library. Registered my phone number and was able to log in. I can easily send text messages but am not able to send images or videos. Basically nothing happens when i enter "/image send 91XXXXXXX /root/yowsup/baby.png caption". Similar kinds of questions asked in the past have not been answered correctly. Does anyone know how to fix this with the new protocol of WhatsApp?
