Author Type: Selection
A trivial one (I hope): Maybe the "Author Type" checkbox could be dropped, and the available types could always be shown (as is already the case when at least one type is selected)? This would save an additional click and some screen space (I often need to scroll down to see all types).
Btw, I did not find out yet what the "is complete" option means. Can it be checked as a note to myself that I have all works of that author?
That dialog is in fact on my short-list... there is an issue with it on (my) tablets in landscape mode where it's supposed to go wider and hence show all types without scrolling. I was/am going to move that switch and make the state persistent.

you got it 👍 That's exactly what it is for. Also available on Series.
I finally got around to fixing the dialog, i.e. force it to use the full screen-width, on tablets and phones-in-landscape.
Scrolling is still needed on all devices where there is simply not enough space to show them; that's unavoidable.
The switch-state is now persistent during an edit-session (it was failing upon device rotation before), but global behaviour stays the same. i.e. if an author has no types set, a 'click' is needed to show the list.
