proposed: Collaborative publishing
Proposed new title and location... https://docs.textpattern.com/setup/collaborative-publishing
Situation
Think of this as a white paper targeted to anyone charged with setting up a Txp installation for collaborative publishing reasons (e.g. a web magazine). This document should first propose that scenario for context, then proceed with a walk-through of setting such a hypothetical site up as far as it concerns user accounts, roles assignment, who can do what, and perhaps how it can all be extended for more control.
Reason page is needed
Such a focused pitch for collaborative website with Textpattern doesn't exist. And, by writing such a doc, we can merge other docs and details (see resources below) and thus delete those pages in course of new docs architecture direction.
Other resource to consider
- #133
- [ ] User roles and privs -- could start with this page as foundation to edit and re-name
- [ ] Users panel - merge in all the relevant bits from here and delete this page
