Textile SDK

Description

This is a larger project of wrapping the core functionality of textile-go's mobile API in proper iOS and Android SDKs. It will allow developers to more easily create Textile apps.

Initiative / goal

This will enable developer use and Textile app growth. It will also streamline our own use of Textile in Textile Photos.

Hypothesis

I feel like we really need this, even just for Textile Photos. It will allow us to focus on user-facing UX instead of the internals of managing and interacting with the Textile node. Getting any other developers to build an app on Textile will be a success. Success will be measured in less time spent on Textile node code in Textile photos and on the number of SDK users we get.

Acceptance criteria and must have scope

We must have an SDK for at least one platform, iOS or Android, and integrate that SDK into Textile Photos.

Stakeholders

Everyone internal, and we should provide updates and information externally as well, get the word out about the SDK.
