App crashes when updating Avatar

here's the crash report from my simulator

this is from an already onboarded account.

• go to settings, change avatar
• pick a new image from android camera roll
• submit.
• 2-3 seconds the ui will seem locked up
• followed by a full crash

I'm now seeing this when dropping and rejoining a cafe on Android (when i already have a group + some photos to upload). will check it out
