It would be nice if stores could have a name or other metadata associated with it and can be searched or created by that metadata. Right now I need to put the store ID in the database and then create and store it if it doesn't exist. Alternatively, the metadata can be on the node.

Store human-readable 'mapping' of Stores to Threads (IDs)

Useful for recovery. This would likely 'live' in the Store Manager. It would be nice to be able to (optionally) map unique names to threads within the manager in case of recovery, but perhaps also so that apps could reference a specific store/thread by name.
