Internal viewer choppy under Linux when an external monitor is connected
Environment
- TeXstudio: 4.8.6
- Qt: 6.8.2
- OS: Fedora 41 GNOME
- TeX distribution: Miktex 24.12
- Hardware: Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 Pro, AMD Ryzen 5800H
Expected behavior
Internal viewer is smooth and responsive when using only the laptop screen
Actual behavior
The internal viewer is incredibly choppy and unresponsive when and external monitor is connected. It doesn't matter whether the viewer is embedded or windowed, nor what settings are chosen (direct, buffered, hybrid; arthur, splash). It also doesn't matter where the window is position - on the native or the external screen.
can't test, windows is okay. And so is linux with one monitor.
