GUI configuration for --start-always

Environment

  • TeXstudio: 2.12.10
  • Qt: 5.8.0
  • OS: Windows 7
  • TeX distribution: miktex

Expected behavior

I would like to be able to configure the following via the configuration dialog instead of editing the --start-always parameter into the Registry:

Double-clicking tex files should optionally always open new TeXstudio instances.

Actual behavior

In the configuration dialog, I can find no way to activate separate instances for newly opened files.

For the record, I added --start-always to Linux Mint's menu entry for the flatpack version of TeXstudio as described here.
