Handling of HTML in MediaWiki (indentation of pre element in lists)

It would be great if the script would recognize HTML code in MediaWiki, like

    and nested
  • items and put it in an <HTML> element. It might be difficult to recognize HTML because it can be used without special declaration in MediaWiki. Also the indentation of pre blocks in lists might be difficult (usually a reason to use HTML) because dokuwiki's indentation of code blocks is only done correctly in dokuwiki syntax (see https://www.dokuwiki.org/faq%3alists and eventually http://stackoverflow.com/questions/23850160/how-to-highlight-a-text-with-double-simple-quotes-in-a-html-section)

This is certainly late, but, can you provide some examples in MediaWiki syntax for both of these issues?
