[Feature] Interactive operation transitions

Summary

Allow operation transitions to be "interactive": instead of automatically playing an operation, pull up a slider that the user can slide across, pause, or play the current transition. This can probably be enabled/disabled via config.

Motivation

I've had a couple of people approach me with this as a feature request.
