Remove deprecated method

When enabling linters in the project https://github.com/teslamotors/fleet-telemetry/pull/229. I suppressed a lint issue https://github.com/teslamotors/fleet-telemetry/blob/be9aac1c4be7a7494fb96cc4524eddb6bff21f68/config/config.go#L172-#L174

We should determine if its ok to remove the deprecated method or if we need to fix it forward
